Eve – Stroller

MAD Foundation often receives requests for funding assistance from our friends at Very Special Kids. VSK’s role is to provide support to families who are caring for a child with a life-threatening condition. They introduced us to the beautiful Eve.

Eve is reliant on oxygen therapy and therefore her parents need to carry her oxygen tanks with her at all times.  As Eve has grown bigger and welcomed the arrival of her new baby brother, typical children’s strollers were no longer adequate.

MAD Foundation funded a specialised double stroller to accommodate Eve’s medical equipment and her new brother and a portable pulse oximeter. This stroller caters for the families needs and allows Eve to access developmentally appropriate childhood recreational and social experiences. Little Eve looks delighted in her new chariot!
