Cody’s new wheelchair delivered after Tom Davies’ 750km fundraising effort

MAD was pleased to be present for the delivery of Cody’s new wheelchair.

The wheelchair was funded through Tom Davies’ extraordinary fundraising effort for MAD. Tom ran 50km a day for 15 days, covering 750km and raising more than $20,000.

His goal was simple: to help a child and family access equipment that would make daily life safer and easier.

Tom joined Andrea and David from MAD for the delivery. It was a chance to meet Cody and his family, and to see the direct impact of the funds raised.

Cody’s new wheelchair will provide safer, more supportive mobility. It will also help make everyday movement easier for his family.
