On Wednesday 24 December 2025, 18-year-old Tom Davies completed an extraordinary personal challenge.

Tom ran 50 kilometres a day for 15 consecutive days. He took on the challenge to raise funds for the MAD Foundation.

Tom showed remarkable endurance across the 15 days. He also brought purpose, humility and a strong desire to help others to every stage of the challenge.

Public attention grew as the campaign progressed. Channel 7 covered Tom’s effort, and 3AW also shared the story. Shane McInnes from 3AW spoke with MAD Foundation ambassador Chris Lynch to help highlight Tom’s challenge and the cause he supported.

During the campaign, Tom completed one of his runs as laps of The Tan Track in Melbourne. Members of the MAD community came along to walk laps, cheer him on and show their support.

MAD Ambassador Sean Lynch also supported Tom during the challenge. Sean, who received support from MAD many years ago, attended on Day 12 and again on the final day.

Tom’s MyCause fundraising page remains open for anyone who would still like to contribute. All funds raised will directly support MAD’s work.
