Sidak – Nutritional supplements

Children with chronic kidney disease struggle to meet their nutritional requirements and often require expensive supplements for growth and development which are generally obtained via PBS. Sidak is heavily reliant on supplements but is not eligible for Medicare, creating great financial stress on a family paying for all medical costs and an upcoming renal transplant.

MAD has been funding the costs of Sidak’s supplements for over 6 months, which has been a significant contribution to his improving health and well-being.

His family and treating team remain very grateful for the support provided by the MAD Foundation and we all wish Sidak a speedy recovery from his upcoming surgery.
